Grammy Award-winning musician Diplo found himself in the middle of a controversy when word got around that he was "living with" 19-year-old internet sensation Quenlin Blackwell.

Diplo took over headlines after word went around that he is “living with” 19-year-old TikTok star, Quenlin Blackwell. Fans of the teen sensation took to social media to share their concerns about the living arrangements, citing the 22-year age difference. Addressing the controversy, Diplo said in a tweet, "OK so I rent one of my properties to @quenblackwell. And yes I use the studio that is in that building. Her social media is sarcastic and chaotic and I can see you can get a twisted idea but there is nothing but a friendship between us.”

The young starlet also issued a clarification, saying that their relationship is purely "platonic" and that Diplo is her "LA dad..nothing more.”

When Beyonce dropped her album 'Lemonade' fans were convinced that her husband, Jay-Z had an affair with a certain 'Becky with the good hair'. Lil' Wayne is often credited as the one who trained Nicki Minaj and gave her the space and time to become the musician she is today. Back in the day, rumours of a romance between the two began doing the rounds and their explicit music collaborations did little to say otherwise. It was only during an interview with MTV that Nicki shared that working on their raunchy 'High School' music video was "awkward" as Wayne was not only her boss but "he's also like my brother."
