After Oscar 2026 nominee, Ryan Cooglar's 'Sinners', stream these must-watch hits on OTT

‘Sinners’, starring Michael B Jordan in a stunning double role of twin brothers, swept across this award season. Ever since its release in theatres, the movie has managed to become a fan favourite of many people around the world. At the Oscars, the film even made history by getting nominated for 16 awards. Here is a list of films that you can add to your must watch list if you loved ‘Sinners’ and need to watch something similar.

2/6

'His House'

Starring ‘Sinners’ very own Wunmi Mosaku, this horror film is a great watch if you loved the dark themes that the Oscar-nominated film portrayed. The plot follows a refugee couple who escape from the warlands of South Sudan. Trying to start a new life in a small town in England, the couple comes face to face with an evil that lurks in the walls of their new home. The horror film is available for streaming on Netflix.

3/6

‘Blade’

‘Blade’ is the classic thriller vampire film that came before ‘Sinners.’ The story follows Blade, a Dhampir (human with vampire abilities) who becomes a daywalking vampire hunter. Starring Wesley Snipes, Stephen Dorff, and Kris Kristofferson, the film was a big hit at the time of its release. ‘Blade’ is available on Prime Video.

4/6

'30 Days of Night'

‘30 Days of Night’ has similar themes to ‘Sinners’ as it follows the main protagonist fending off vampires with a group of friends. The catch? The night lasts for 30 days straight in this film, which means that there is no hope for the sunlight to save you. With a lot of blood, fighting, and horror, this is another film that you should add to your list of must-watch OTT projects. The film is available on Apple TV, and on Netflix in some regions.

5/6

'Longlegs'

Maika Monroe and Nicholas Cage lead this horror-themed film based on the classic tale of Daddy Longlegs. The premise of the film follows an FBI agent who is in pursuit of a serial killer who is responsible for the gruesome killing of many people over the years. Through her investigation, she ends up finding supernatural and occult ties to the cases, uncovering the sinister truth underneath the murders. The film is available to stream on Apple TV and Prime Video.

6/6

'Us'

‘Us’ by Jordan Peele is another recent horror tale that should be added to your list if you loved ‘Sinners.’ The plot of the film follows Adelaide Wilson, along with her children and husband, as they set out on a vacation from their busy lives. What was supposed to be a relaxing time ends up becoming sinister and deadly as a family that looks exactly like theirs, wearing red jumpsuits and creepy smiles, comes out of the dark to kill them. ‘Us’ is available on Netflix and Prime Video.
