President Rajkeswur Purryag launched album penned by Manoj Bhawuk

On the occasion of the 180th anniversary of the arrival of indentured labourers in Mauritius the President of the Republic, Mr. Rajkeswur Purryag launched the first ever Bhojpuri album 'Tasveer Zindagi Ke' penned by renowned Bhojpuri poet Mr. Manoj Bhawuk.Gazals have been written in many languages but the Bhojpuri Cinema till now was only famous for its rich and cultural folk music.Hence Manoj Bhawuk accepted this challenge and decided to give a new avenue to the Bhojpuri Language and wrote beautiful Gazal Book"Tasveer Zindagi Ke" and for this Manoj Bhawuk was also awarded Bhartiya Bhasha Parishad award by renowned lyricist Gulzar and Thumari legend Girja Devi.
The lyrics of 'Tasveer Zindagi Ke' have been voiced by one of the most popular voices in Bollywood Saroj Suman. The concept behind the album is given by Manoj Singh Rajput and Ashutosh Singh.
'Tasveer Zindagi Ke' was launched in India by Professor Namwar Singh distinguished author and critic, thereafter it was once again launched in Nepal by Arjun Narasingha K.C. a Nepalese politician. After launching it in Mauritius , Manoj Bhawuk now plans to launch it in Fiji, Guenna, Trinidad and Tobaggo , Holland and as many Bhojpuri Speaking Countries as possible.
This event was attended by Art and Culture Minister of Mauritius Mukeshwar Chunni , Indian High Commissioner Anup Kumar Mudgal, Sarita Budhu Chairperson, Bhojpuri Speaking Union, Mauritius & Malini Awasthi.
