Bhojpuri actress Smriti Sinha is one of the most successful actresses in Bhojpuri cinema. Born in Bhagalpur, Smriti always aspired to be an actress. She started her acting career with Bhojpuri film ‘Rangeela Babu’ in 2012 opposite Dinesh Lal Yadav. And since has entertained fans with numerous films. 'Rangeela Babu'

Bhojpuri film ‘Rangeela Babu’ marked Smriti Sinha’s debut in 2012. She played a pivotal role in the film alongside Dinesh Lal Yadav, Sweety Chhabra, Avdhesh Mishra and Manoj Singh. This action-romantic drama was directed by Baali and produced by Ratan Goyal. The songs were sung by Monaj Mishra, Dinesh Lal Yadav, Sonu Kakkar and Indu Sonali. The story of ‘Rangeela Babu’ was penned by Vinay Bihari and music was composed by Bablu Mahender.

'Sajan Chale Sasural 2'

‘Sajan Chale Sasural 2’ was an action-family drama starring Khesari Lal Yadav, Smriti Sinha, Akshara Singh, Anup Arora, Kiran Yadav and Maya Yadav. The movie was directed by Premanshu Singh and produced by Vikas Kumar Singh. The songs were penned by Manoj K Kushwaha and music was composed by Avinash Jha. ‘Sajan Chale Sasural 2’ explored the romantic chemistry between the leads Khesari and Smriti Sinha.

'Pratigya 2'

The story of the film ‘Pratigya 2’ revolves around a police officer who goes undercover to take revenge from a person who killed his whole family. Singer-actor Pawan Singh played the role of a police officer while Smriti essayed a pivotal role in the project. Along with Pawan, the movie also featured famous stars like Khesari Lal Yadav, Kunal Singh, Sushil Singh, Sanjay Yadav, Akshara Singh, Kajal Raghwani and Smriti Sinha. The film was jointly produced by Abhishek Tiwari, Harsh Tiwari and Sanjay Yadav, directed by Sushil Kumar Upadhay.

'Suhaag'

Bhojpuri movie ‘Suhaag’ was an action-romantic drama where the lead actor Pawan Singh and Namit Tiwari taught villagers how to earn more money. The film also featured Monalisa, Smriti Sinha and Shubhi Sharma. Popular Bhojpuri dancer Seema Singh performed an item number in ‘Suhaag’. The movie has been written, produced and directed by Ajay Shrivastava. The songs were sung by Pawan Singh and Indu Sonali and the music was composed by Madhukar Anand. The story of ‘Suhaag’ was penned by Pyare Lal Yadav, R R Pankaj and Jahid Akhtar.

'Pyar Jhukta Nahi'

‘Pyar Jhukta Nahi’ is a romantic Bhojpuri film starring Khesari Lal Yadav and Smriti Sinha as the leads. The story was penned and directed by Aslam Sheikh. ‘Pyar Jhukta Nahi’ was produced by Abhay Sinha. The songs were sung by Khesari Lal Yadav and Indu Sonali with the lyrics penned by Pyare Lal Yadav and music was composed by Rajesh Rajnesh.
