Exclusive! Vinay Anand: Due to the current crisis, we decided to celebrate Raksha Bandhan on the video call

Govinda's nephew Vinay Anand, who is currently active in the Bhojpuri film industry, celebrated Raksha Bandhan via video call with his sisters. Currently, the actor is spending quality time with his wife Jyoti and kids at home due to lockdown.
While speaking to ETimes exclusively, Vinay revealed the reason why he celebrated the festival on the video call. The actor said, "Due to the current crisis, we decided to celebrate on the video call.Raksha Bandhan means to protect, so I don't think this social distancing and precautions are not less than protecting each other from the virus."
He added, "Celebrating Raksha Bandhan by maintaining distance is the best way to protect your siblings as the festival is about protection. Today, we decided to celebrate the festival through a video call. The world is going through a very tough time and we need to be very responsible. It is not like the old days, so this was the best decision we could have taken."
Anand started his acting career with the Bollywood film 'Lo Main Aagaya' along with Prem Chopra, Laxmikant Bendre and Mohan Joshi. He is best known for his performances such as 'Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya', 'Sautela', 'Jahan Jaaeyega Hamen Paaeyega' and 'Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiyaa'.
