Awdhesh marked his Bhojpuri debut in 2005 as a villain with ‘Dulha Aisan Chahi’, which was directed by Sunil Sinha. Awdhesh’s performance was highly praised by critics and fans. He has also featured in Bollywood film 'Dirty Politics' which starred Naseeruddin Shah, Mallika Sherawat, Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher and Om Puri.
