Theatre artistes gear up to present live digital theatre

Group are gearing up to present the first live play, Lockdown Diaries, digitally on May 3. It is the ticketed show and the money will go to a COVID-19 relief fund, the members informed. The

play

is directed by

Souptic Chakraborty

and it will feature Sujoy

Prosad Chatterjee

, Ranieeta Dash, Madhurima Dasgupta, Deepak Halder and Shaayok Samaddar, along with Souptic. Elaborating on the project, the director said, “We will be streaming live at 7:30 pm from our social media handle. This pandemic crisis has hit humanity real hard. There is lockdown in almost every corner of the world. The isolation has affected our lives directly. This story delved into the lives of a few human beings and talks about how this lockdown has affected their mind.”

While Shaayok Samaddar will be on the tech support,

Raajit Chatterjee

has composed the music.
