Kaushik Sen upset on the low-key celebration of theatre Olympic in Kolkata

Thespian Kaushik Sen, whose latest production

Nirbhaya

was staged at the on-going Theatre Olympic in Delhi on February 21, is upset. According to him, the theatre extravaganza that is being hosted by

National School of Drama

all over the country is not getting its due. “I was in Delhi to stage my production and I saw how elaborate and prestigious the event is there. However, the Kolkata chapter of Theatre Olympic has not got any government auditorium. So, it missed out on popular venues. It is unfortunate that the theatre community in the city could not enjoy this extravaganza to its fullest.”
