Singer Riddhi Bandyopadhyay is in the USA with her show
Pancho Kobir Gaan
. In the show she will render songs of five famous poets including
Tagore
and Nazrul
Islam
, among others. And songs by yesteryear songstresses such as
Kanan Devi, Angur Bala, Indu Devi and Tinkori will also presented by her. “I am trying to revive the songs that are not heard by the audience much but are a significant part of our Bengali culture,” said Riddhi.
