Sarod maestro to play cameo

Pandit Debojyoti Bose is all set for his first-ever cameo in Sumit Das’s Jijibisha.
The music maestro has his kitty full of projects, with live concerts and Tollywood films in the pipeline. Having composed for Jijibisha, Bose is excited about the role. “I have composed for the film. The song Boiche batash has been sung by Raghab Chattopadhyay. I will be doing a cameo for the first time in this triangular love story.I play a narrator who tells the story through this song,” he said. Jijibisha stars Sreelekha Mitra, Joy Sengupta and Soumitra Chatterjee in major roles. “I have also composed for Shekhar Das’s Nayan Chapar Din Ratri and Aninda Sarkar’s E Ki Laboney, in which I worked with Ustad Rashid Khan, Arpita Chatterjee and Rupam Islam,” Bose added.
