Featuring popular actress Sandipta Sen in different avatars that celebrate ‘nari shakti’ this song surely has enough food for thought. “Worshipping such a strong and independent goddesses Maa Durga becomes all too absurd in a nation where women and girls are still killed, raped and oppressed in the name of so-called tradition and also the social taboos that destroys the very essence of a society. Our song speaks of the real essence of womanhood. Also the misconception about women should be changed now. An independent modern woman can’t be criticized and objectified all the time.
