A present-day romcom is how Rajib Chatterjee describes his debut film, Knock Out.
With Shoaib, the new Khan of T’wood, making his debut along with Kinni, it sure has been a bold step for Rajib to cast two newcomers at the same time. “I wanted to add a certain degree of freshness to the film. Shoaib’s role is somewhat akin to SRK’s character in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa,” informed Rajib.

“Initially, I had Jeet in mind, but then, I wanted to cast someone with a chocolate boy look,” smiled Rajib.
The film has been shot in exotic locales of Thailand and Pattaya. And the director is confident that the music and cinematography will surely attract the audience to the theatres. “I knew exactly how I wanted my film to shape up. Cinematographer Bijitesh De has taken brilliant shots. Kunal Ganjawala has lent his voice for one of the songs,” Rajib revealed. The film also stars veteran actors like Anjan Srivastav, Rajesh Sharma, Krishna Kishore Mukherjee and Dwijen Bandyopadhayay in pivotal roles.
