Popular Tollywood actor says Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ celebrates invincible heroism and that’s the secret behind its success

It is the most challenging thing to deliver a blockbuster that can please everyone. After the massive success of ‘RRR’, Rajamouli is once again hailed by one and all for his box office-breaking feat. Actor Soham Chakraborty, too, feels that in this post-pandemic time our entertainment industry, especially film business, needs blockbusters like ‘RRR’ to bring back the glory.He also points out the secrets behind Rajamouli’s unbelievable success.
“If you closely see Rajamouli’s filmography you will find one key element present in each of his films and that is invincible heroism. As for the protagonists, he has always focused on their unique characterization which is very strong, and almost all the aspect of the film revolves around these characters. The heroes are always larger-than-life yet principled while standing tall. They might fail in their mission but are never afraid to rise again, becoming stronger and more vengeful. There’s also another interesting aspect of the antagonist who most of the time is not grey and can’t be forgiven but they only get vanquished. Now, if you see the characterisation of women in his films, they will be seen at key points in the film taking the story forward,” explains Soham whose recent film ‘Kolkata’r Harry’s received a mixed response from the audience.

‘RRR’ is a fictional story revolving around the lives of Telugu freedom fighters Alluri Sreetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr NTR played these two lead roles in the period piece.
