Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Festival 2025 celebrates music and dance

The eighth edition of the Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan National Music and Dance Festival 2025 enthralled audiences with stellar performances by actress-dancer Rituparna Sengupta, music director Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee, and festival director Abhijit Bhattacharya. The festival honors the legendary musician and promotes Indian classical music and dance, while also providing a platform for emerging talent.
Rituparna expressed her joy at performing on a classical stage and Pandit Mukherjee called it a privilege to collaborate with her, highlighting the festival’s focus on blending music and dance.
Festival director Abhijit Bhattacharya noted the overwhelming audience response and announced plans to expand the festival to other cities. The event paid a fitting tribute to Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan and reinforced the richness of India’s cultural heritage.
