Sudiptaa Chakraborty’s debut film, Sanghat, was with Tapas Paul and then she went on to act in many serials with him. Following the veteran actor-turned-politician's demise on Tuesday morning, the actress took to social media and wrote: "I pay my homage to my senior actor Tapas Pal and my sincere condolences to Nandini di, his wife and Sohini,his daughter. Sudipta, who met the actor when he was a superstar, said, “I remember Tapasda used to be surrounded by his team and he was nice to every single person. His films used to be super hits at that time but he was a grounded man and that made him so popular. He was a great artiste and a man with a golden heart,” said Sudiptaa.
