Soham, Swatilekha elated to work with Raj

The poster of Raj Chakraborty’s Dharmajuddha came out a few days back and now the looks of the characters are being revealed. The film stars Swatilekha Sengupta, Subhashree Ganguly, Soham, Ritwick Chakraborty, Parno Miitra and others.

The script

of the film is penned by Padmanabha Dasgupta. Initially, the film was called Amma, then it was changed into Hey Garbhodharini and now it is titled Dharmajuddha. Proloy was a political thriller. After years, he is making a political thriller that deals with today’s socio-political and religious issues.

Soham, who plays Jabbar in the film, is getting a lot of calls after his look in the film was revealed online. “People are appreciating my look in the film and working with Rajda was quite an experience. The film is about what we see around us today,” said Soham.

Swatilekha, who plays Amma in this film, is thrilled to work with Raj. “Raj is a bunch of positive

it was indeed a wonderful experience working in this film. I was also not aware that I could do so much,” said the actress.

In Dharmajuddha, the director wants to explore the day-to-day struggles in a border area, where religion and caste issues take centre stage in almost every situation. This leads to murder and bloodshed. The story starts with three characters taking shelter in the house of an elderly woman, who is looked after by a young girl. The situation worsens as these five characters face the reality. All the characters have a secret past and this gets interlinked with their present circumstances.
