Saayoni Ghosh is on detox mode. Here’s why…

Saayoni Ghosh had a great Sunday, as she partied the whole day. “We partied yesterday right from the morning. It was a perfect Sunday after a long time. It was my friend and actor

’s birthday. So, we started with brunch and partied even in the evening. And today, I’ve gone into detox mode. I’m only having soup and fruits. I have a script reading session in the evening. So, I’m planning to enjoy an afternoon nap too,” Saayoni said with a smile.
The actress, who will start dubbing for Sohobase soon, added, “I’m so happy that Atithi is running for 51 days at Nandan. It’s a low-budget film by a debutant director and I am happy that the audience is appreciating it. Ritudi (Rituparna Sengupta) who plays the lead in Atithi is also very happy.”

Sujit Paul’s debut directorial, Atithi, is a film on human relationships. Its story revolves around a mental rehabilitation centre called Ashray. Dr Prajnamoy (Rajat Ganguly) and his daughter Snigdha (Rituparna Sengupta) run the centre. Dr Arindam (

), a family friend, helps them. A young couple, who lose their memories after a road accident, come to the centre. As they can’t even remember their names, Dr Prajnamoy names them Antim (Nishan Nanaiah) and Antara (Saayoni Ghosh). “I loved the way the director portrayed the moment when Antara regains her memory, but can’t recognise Dr Arindam and Dr Snigdha. Antara and Antim’s past is also revealed in a nice way in the film,” Saayoni signed off.
