Saurav will be seen as a political leader Narenji, while debutant Sanju plays Shib Mukherjee and Chakraborty plays his love interest Golapi.

“It’s a twisted tale of Golbibi Bajar in Jangalmahal and shows how local leader Narenji starts his own party to fight for the rights of the villagers. The story speaks of the Maoist activities, untold stories of life in a rural village and how behind Narenji’s back love blossoms within his party between Golapi and Shib Mukherjee,” shares Mandip while speaking about his film’s core concept.

He further adds, “Not just the love and politics, revenge and hatred also have their place in the story. We have shot in many real locations involved in Naxalite movement to give the realistic approach.”

While Anindya Mukhopadhyay has composed the background score, popular singers like Nachiketa Chakraborty, Answeshaa Dutta Gupta and Rupankar Bagchi have lent their voices for the songs.
