Priyanka Sarkar thrilled to be part of Bibaho Obhijaan

Priyanka Sarkar is happy to be part of Birsa Dasgupta’s Bibaho Obhijaan, where she is paired opposite Anirban Bhattacharya. “After Crisscross, I am part of Birsada’s film and it is always fun to work with him. Here, Ankush and Mimi Chakraborty play one couple while Rudranil Ghosh and Sohini Sarkar play another. I play Malati, who is from a village and the script is hilarious. It is my first pairing with Anirban and I am sure the audience will love it,” said Priyanka. She added, “ This is a story of three couples that each one of us will be able to relate to. The drama that happens between each couple is the essence of this romcom. it also shows how, at the end of the day, it is the love that binds them together. Rudra plays Rajat, a logical man who has a complex because of his height and complexion. He gets married to Maya (Sohini), who is illogical and whose life revolves around serials. They have an arranged marriage and then the drama starts in their life. On the other side, we see Rai (Mimi), who is an activist on social media that we see very often nowadays. Sew falls in love with Anupam (Ankush), the typical Bengali ‘bhalo chhele’ of Bhawanipore. And after six months of marriage they realise the real madness of marriage! Anupam and Rajat are friends and the film shows the hilarious incidents that these two couples go through after marriage.”
