​June 4 marks the much-anticipated result day of this year’s Lok Sabha Elections. After the whole country cast their vote in General Elections 2024 in seven phases, the results are out now. Celebrities from the Bengali entertainment industry, who have ventured into the arena of Politics, have received their report cards. Take a look.

Dev



​Dev registered his victory in Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The actor turned politician and the Member of Parliament from All India Trinamool Congress won from the Ghatal constituency in 2014 and 2019. This is the third time Dev has won the seat from Ghatal and with that, the actor marked his hattrick as a winning MP defeating BJP's Hiran Chatterjee.

Rachana Banerjee



​Rachana emerged victorious in her maiden innings in politics. The actress and television personality turned politician stepped into the political arena earlier this year. Rachana was made candidate on behalf of the All India Trinamool Congress party in the Hooghly constituency for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. BJP’s candidate Locket Chatterjee, the actress turned politician, was defeated by Rachana by a margin of over 75 thousands votes.

Saayoni Ghosh



​Saayoni Ghosh has added another feather to her cap. The actress-politician secured a landslide victory in the Lok Sabha election with over four lakhs votes. Saayoni was contesting from the Jadavpur Lok Sabha Constituency for this year’s general elections. She defeated BJP’s candidate Anirban Ganguly and CPI(M)’s candidate Srijan Bhattacharya by over 2.5 lac votes.

June Malia



​June Malia is set to begin a new innings in her political career. The actress turned politician is ready to make her way to the Parliament after serving as a Member of Legislative Assembly from the Medinipur constituency. June was an elected Member of the Legislative Assembly from the Medinipur constituency. This is the first time June was contesting in the Lok Sabha Elections. In her maiden inning, June emerged victorious from the Medinipur constituency defeating BJP's Agnimitra Paul.

​Satabdi Roy is making her way to the Parliament for the fourth time. The candidate of All India Trinamool Congress was contesting from the Birbhum constituency. The actress turned politician registered her victory with a margin of almost two lac votes in Lok Sabha Elections this year.
