Devlina Kumar is currently shooting for her upcoming film, Samsara, in Shillong and is having a gala time with the unit. But despite that, the actress is missing her home town, after he learnt that it is raining in Kolkata.
Samsara is a
Sudeshna Roy and Rana Guha-directed comedy thriller. For the shooting, the entire unit was first in Cherrapunji and have then come to Shilong.
“When we were in Meghalaya, there was no mobile connectivity and it was a different feeling. In the hilly and forested area, we were completely cut off from the world and besides the unit members, there was no one else to talk to,” she said, adding that the scenic beauty of the place was breathtaking.
“Now, we are getting some mobile connectivity and I just heard that it is raining cats and dogs in Kolkata. Instantly, I started missing my city,” she added. When asked, she said that she loves to spend time reading books and watching good films during the rains. “A hot cup of coffee, a couple of good books and my rainy days are sorted,” Devlina said, adding that it is sad that she missed the first rainfall of the year.
