Devlina Kumar starts shopping for her wedding

With just a week to go for the D-day,

actress Devlina Kumar

, who is all set to tie the

knot

with actor Gourab Chatterjee, has finally started

wedding shopping

. The actress has bought a couple of Benarasi sarees and a lehenga and the rest of the shopping is being taken care of by her mother. “There are two reasons for this,” she tells us, adding, “Firstly, when it comes to my style, I can blindly trust my mother as her taste matches with mine. And secondly, in the past two weeks, I have barely got time for myself, let alone shopping.”
Till last week, Devlina was in Darjeeling shooting for Rajarshi Dey’s next, Abar Kanchenjunga. On returning, she was to start shooting for Arindam Sil’s film, the next in the Shabor franchise. But since the shooting has been postponed until December or January 2021, Devlina has got some time for

wedding preparations

. “I don’t know what would I have done without my mother. I am getting married, but it is she who is doing all the hard work,” the actress told

On her wedding day, the actress will don a traditional Bengali attire, while for the reception, she will be slipping into an Indo-western ensemble. “My parents are more excited about the wedding than I am. And no, I can’t blame them,” Devlina added jokingly.
