They are pairing up for one project after another. But that doesnt mean they are a screen jodi. Its the love for cinema that brings together Prosenjit Chatterjee and Paoli in Kamaleswar Mukherjees Khawto a film that explores deeper human relationships. In between an exclusive shoot for us, the lead characters open up on what drove them to take the bold step. In an exclusive shoot with CT, the duo turn on the heat and leave us gasping for breath! Check out the pictures...
About the intimate scenes in the film, Paoli says, "The audience has matured. They are watching a lot of international films. Antara (my character) and Nirbed Lahiri share an attachment and yet there is a strange detachment between them. You need to evolve a lot to connect at such a level. About a comfort zone, I have done many films with dada, and I am not just comfortable with him but also with Soumik (Halder) and Kamalda, who has conceived the images beautifully."
Prosenjit in the interview with us has said, "The way I shoot, nothing of love remains. In Chokher Bali, I had to dictate to Dolu (Raima) the famous kissing scene. The directors gel with me because I understand shot framing well. What matters is how we look on screen. Here too I practically taught the women how to kiss!"
About the sex scenes and usage of expletives in the film, Prosenjit said, " It is an adult film there are two versions of the trailer. Even the production house is promoting it as an adult film. No one is claiming that its a childrens film. Before Baishe Srabon, people were iffy about using expletives in a film. But that clicked. Here too, whatever is there in the movie will be liked by the audience. Its not a film on sex, but on deeper relationships."
