Tollywood love birds
Koushani Mukherjee and
Bonny Sengupta celebrated their six years of courtship recently. “Last year, we couldn’t celebrate our anniversary because of the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. So, this year we thought of celebrating it with our parents and close friends. We spent the day at a city hotel and Bonny decorated the room the way I like it. He gifted me a beautiful handbag.
I made a special gift hamper for him and made sure Bonny’s favourite items were there. I ordered a customized cake for us too. We all had a beautiful time after a long time,” said the actress, adding, “We couldn’t stay back there on July 3 as Bonny had to leave for north Bengal on July 4. He is shooting there for Saptaswa Basu’s film Jotugriho. He will be back in town on July 11 and after that, we plan to go on a long drive. I am extremely romantic and I love these long drives with Bonny. Though in these six years of our relationship, we fought over 600 times if not more.”
Koushani and Bonny, who were shooting for an untitled Bangladeshi film, directed by Ronny, were in Kashmir to shoot the song and dance sequences there. “It was work cum a short vacation for us. Kashmir is a beautiful place and we explored the places when we were not shooting,” said Koushani who will start shooting for Sayantan Ghoshal’s film Hirokgorer Hire in August. “I am paired opposite Soham in this film. We only shot for two days and then the shooting of the film got stalled because of the second wave. Now, we are planning to resume the shoots in August,” said the actress.
