Arjun Chakrabarty celebrates ’18 years of love’ with Sreeja Sen; Cuts anniversary special cake with daughter Avantika

Arjun Chakrabarty is in cloud nine. The Tollywood actor is celebrating 18 years of love and togetherness with his wife Sreeja Sen. The actor, who gained prominence after his stint with ‘Gaaner Oparey’ on Bengali television, is one of the most well-known faces in the Bengali television industry. Arjun is celebrating his anniversary with his wife Sreeja, along with their daughter Avantika. The couple cut a special cake made for their anniversary depicting their love story. Right from the classrooms to the wedding altar, and now with their daughter Avantika – Arjun and Sreeja’s love story is one of its kind. Their story was sweetly depicted on the cake. Sreeja shared the photo of the cake on her Instagram story.

A couple of days ago, Arjun took to social media to share a few photos of himself with his wife Sreeja. The black-and-white photos capture the couple’s chemistry beautifully. Arjun posted the ‘story’ in caption and wrote, “After the results of our pre-board exams were out and I had excelled like never before, our class teacher Ma’am Shekhar said “someone’s pulled you up”. She was obviously referring to a certain new girl who had joined our school the previous year and stood first in class both academic years. I took that statement as a badge of honour, but found out others did not. Their observation was “oh ma’am didn’t give YOU credit? She said someone else pulled you up?” I was confused. I didn’t make much of it.”

Arjun went on, “Close to two decades later, I realise that was the start of my pulling up. Yes the new girl in my class, the girl in question, did pull me up. Like a teacher pulls up a student to admonish, like a best friend pulls up a best friend when they see them going astray, like a wife who pulls up her husband because she wants him to be the best version of himself.” The actor added, “Thank you for that day, thank you for every day since. Thank you for being you. Thank you for eighteen years of love and togetherness. Pull me up always. I love you.”
A couple of months ago, rumours were rife that Arjun Chakrabarty was heading for a divorce with his wife Sreeja Sen. After Sreeja unfollowed Arjun on Instagram and removed her photos with the actor, the speculations gained momentum. However, the ‘Gaaner Oparey’ famed actor then went on to clear the air about his marital life with Sreeja. He shared a throwback selfie with Sreeja where both of them were seen smiling in each other’s company and dismissed the rumour of their separation.

Arjun and Sreeja, who had been high school sweethearts, married each other almost a decade back. The couple became parents to daughter Avantika, in 2018.
