When Prosenjit and Rituparna heard script together after 14 years!

As ‘Praktan’ completes four years of its release, not just the actors, but director Shiboprosad Mukherjee too is nostalgic. Shiboprosad and Nandita Roy, the director duo did the unthinkable bringing back the iconic onscreen jodi of Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta for their film ‘Praktan’ in 2016.
In a series of throwback pictures from the film and the shooting sets, Shibroprosad has shared another interesting picture featuring the Prosenjit-Rituaparna pair.He captions it: “First day, after 14 years, sitting for the script reading session together.”

The 2016 hit showed how the former wife successfully purifies the husband and churns out a better person out of him. She eventually turns him into a romantic lovable husband for the second wife. Experience makes a person perfect. That’s what Prosenjit’s character deals with. His character goofed up the first marriage so the next time he tries his best not to repeat the same mistakes but falls for a divorce once again.
After ‘Praktan’s huge box office success, Prosenjit and Rituparna teamed up yet again for Kaushik Ganguly’s ‘Drishtikone’ in 2018 which also turned out to be a hit.
