Arindam Sil on Sharbari Dutta’s demise: Hope you will be in peace where you are now

She was close to almost everyone in the Bengali film industry. So, it was no surprise when Sharbari Dutta’s demise left Tollywood shell-shocked. The renowned fashion designer was also close to eminent director Arindam Sil who knew her for years and it was a terrible news for him. “Sharbaridi (#SharbariDutta) was such a dear person to me. I am shell shocked to hear that she is no more. Such a wonderful and ever smiling woman. A talent who was our pride. Hope you will be in peace where you are now Sharbaridi,” Arindam Sil’s tweet read. 63-year-old Sharbari Dutta was found dead last night at her South Kolkata apartment’s washroom. She wasn’t even reachable on phone since morning. The doctors later diagnosed stroke as the reason for her death but had to send the body for a post-mortem examination as it was found in the washroom. Over the years Dutta had pioneered in men’s wear and her designs have been endorsed by Bollywood divas like Vidya Balan and many others. She is the daughter of famous Bengali poet Ajit Dutta.
