Dr Radhakrishnan Nagar delivered a clear verdict, with Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s N Marie Wilson winning the seat by a strong margin. With counting complete (18/18 rounds), Marie Wilson secured 97,800 votes, defeating DMK’s J John Ebenezer, who polled 48,132 votes. AIADMK’s R S Rajesh finished third with 26,892 votes.
In the 2021 Assembly elections, J John Ebenezer (DMK) won with 95,763 votes, defeating AIADMK’s R S Rajesh, who secured 53,284 votes, by a margin of 42,479 votes. In 2016, AIADMK’s J Jayalalithaa had won with 97,218 votes, defeating DMK’s Shimla Muthuchozhan, who secured 57,673 votes, by a margin of 39,545 votes.
