While addressing a rally at Purola town in

Uttarkashi district

, CM Rawat, said, “BJP want to win the election with an aim to serve the nation, whereas Congress party is contesting to secure the legacy of Gandhi family.”

Lauding PM Narendra Modi, Rawat said, “Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, BJP-led government at the Centre has raised the stature of our country on an international level. Steps like demonetization and GST have helped eradicate black money and corruption from the country, while schemes like Ujjwala, Saubhagya, Ayushman, Kisan Samman Nidhi and others have improved the standard of common man's life. Furthermore, the two surgical strikes have also send a strong message to the terrorist supporting nation and have given a boost to the morale of our armed forces.”

Echoing CM, Mala Rajyalaxmi Shah, incumbent MP and BJP candidate from Tehri Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency, also appealed to the people to vote for BJP. “Support BJP to continue the pace of the all-round development of the nation under the dynamic leadership of PM Modi,” Shah said.
