DEHRADUN
: Scrapping rumours of BJP veteran BCKhanduri
joining his son’s election campaign for Congress in Pauri, thesaffron
party, on Monday, accused Congress of spreading fake news.BJP spokesperson, Devendra Bhasin, said: “Major Gen (retd) Khanduri ji is our leader and a father figure to everyone in the BJP and he would always be our leader. Congress has restored to lies as they can see us winning the elections.”

told TOI that the Congress ‘has sensed its defeat’ and hence, is spreading such lies.Meanwhile, while addressing a rally in Dehradun last month, Manish had said that he had his father’s blessings in his decision to join the Congress.
