‘Mafia raj’ in Telangana, KCR govt working for family and Owaisis: Yogi Adityananth
HYDERABAD: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityananth on Sunday lashed out at the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), dubbing its rule in the state for the past five years as ‘mafia raj’.
“All types of mafia — land, sand and forest along with the Owaisis — will flourish if TRS wins,” Yogi said.
Addressing two public meetings at Yellareddy and Peddpalli Lok Sabha constituencies for BJP candidates, Adityanath said that the TRS rule reminded him of the ‘autocratic rule’ of Nizams of Hyderabad. The UP CM claimed that while the state government had failed on all fronts, CM K Chandrasekhar Rao’s family had grown. Slamming the TRS for its 12% quota proposals for Muslims, he accused the KCR government of falling on the feet of MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.
Cong provided biryanis to militants: Yogi
Congress ka haath deshdrohi ke saath aur TRS ka haath Owaisi bandhu ke saath,” said Adityanath (The Congress is with anti-nationals, while the TRS is with Owaisis).
Referring to Lord Rama and Lord Krishna and that he hailed from their birthplace, the UP CM reminded the crowd that it was in Telangana where Lord Rama stayed during his 14-year exile. Adityanath said that the fight was now between Modi’s development agenda and parties that had compromised on the safety of the country, corruption and dynasty politics. “Voting for these parties is nothing but supporting anti-nationals,” he said.
“Previous Congress government had failed to tackle both terrorism and naxalism in the country. They even tied the hands of our security forces. Now the BJP government has taught a lesson to terrorists in Myanmar, carried out surgical and air strikes in Pakistan and destroyed terror camps. We made China go back on the Doklams,” the UP CM claimed, adding that Congress provided biryanis to militants, while BJP government gave them bullets.
The Modi government was giving priority to all sections of society under ‘sab ka saath, sab ka vikas’, he said, adding that while the previous government closed FCI project in Ramagundem, the NDA government revived it at a cost of Rs 5,500 crore.
