BJP had ruthlessly suppressed stir in Rajasthan, says Congress
JAIPUR: RPCC spokesman and transport minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas on Friday alleged that deputy leader of opposition in the assembly Rajendra Rathore charge of the people of the state being left to the mercy of criminals as chief minister is busy in campaign for his son is part of a diversionary tactics by the BJP.
In a scathing attack on the BJP, Khachariyawas said the BJP should seek pardon from the people for their last five years of misrule. The chief minister and her ministers never attended to peoples’ grievances are now levelling unfounded charges on the Congress government, he said
Khachariyawas said, the BJP government had ruthlessly suppressed agitations by the people. Many agitators were assaulted during its tenure. There was also serious corruption charge at mining, PHED, PWD and power departments.
Rajendra Rathore who was a minister in the cabinet never uttered a word then, he said.
He alleged that Rathore is trying to divert the attention of the people from the welfare schemes launched by the new Congress government like farm loan waiver, unemployment allowance, old age and disability pension hike and wheat at Re 1 to one crore people.
The minister further said, the people will give a fitting reply to the BJP for its malicious propaganda.
