Lok Sabha elections: Shiromani Akali Dal hits out Tejinderpal Singh Sandhu
PATIALA: A day after former Shiromani Akali Dal leader
SAD chief’s political secretary Charanjit Singh Brar said Sandhu was expelled from the SAD in the run up to the 2017 assembly elections.
Brar said after his expulsion, Sandhu contested the 2017 assembly poll as an independent and bagged just 2,300 votes.
Brar said the very fact that Sandhu had been welcomed into the Congress fold shows how weak the party has become in Patiala.
Tejinderpal Singh Sandhu
