There’s tsunami of support for PM Narendra Modi across nation: Devendra Fadnavis

: Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would win all the seven seats in the first round of polling that recently concluded in the state.He was addressing an election rally on Tuesday evening in the Valki area of Ahmednagar. , NDA would win all the seven seats with convincing margins,” said Fadnavis.Taking a dig at Modi’s detractors who claimed that there was no wave in favour of Modi, Fadnavis said that there was a tsunami of support in favour of Modi across the country.
“This support is from the common people who have tasted the positive changes that have taken place in the last five years of the NDA regime. I am confident that the NDA will win more seats in the 2019 polls than in 2014,” said Fadnavis.
“India is now at par with countries like America and Israel. During terror attacks in India during the previous regimes, the issues used to be taken up with United Nations. But, things have changed under the NDA government due to Modi’s strong leadership,” said Fadnavis.
Talking about his government’s performance, he said that in the last five years, construction of 20,000km of highways have been approved, of which 7,000km have already been constructed. “In 68 years ,the previous governments could construct only 5000km of road where as we ;have constructed 30,000km of rural roads,” he said.
