KALYAN: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, at a rally here on Tuesday, slammed a Congress promise in its manifesto to scrap the sedition law, saying such a party should not be allowed to contest. Thackeray said, “Tell us, should we not have a sedition law to deal with those who work against the country and our Constitution? But Congress wants to scrap the sedition law. Congress can stoop so low to come back to power.” Meanwhile, a bailable warrant was issued against Thackeray in Yavatmal for an objectionable cartoon.
