Vadgaon Sheri and Shivajinagar in Pune constituency polled lower than Hadapsar.

"Polling booths at

Kondhwa

Budruk and

Lullanagar

registered just 20% polling. This affected the segment's turnout,'' the election official said. Hadapsar in 2009 had registered only 39.9% turnout followed by 48.52% in 2014. While the voter registration had improved, apathy in certain pockets continued, the official added.

Voters in Kondhwa complained of missing names . Residents of societies on NIBM Road and nearby areas went back home disappointed that they could not vote .

Polling agents sent them to all the nearby booths, but many went back without casting their votes as the day grew hotter. Some called local corporators for help but they could not cast their votes.
