Issue of Smriti Irani affidavit is unfortunate, says Supriya Sule
PUNE: Supriya Sule, the Nationalist Congress Party candidate from Baramati, said the issue regarding discrepancies in BJP candidate Smriti Irani’s affidavit was “unfortunate”.
Sule, a sitting MP, said as these affidavits are official documents, one must be very careful with them. “I check the affidavit 10 times before submitting it because it is a major responsibility,” she said at a press conference.
“I have had a good relationship with Irani for many years now. I did not expect this to happen. It is unfortunate,” said Sule. When asked about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constant attacks on NCP chief Sharad Pawar, including during the
