MUMBAI: State Congress president Ashok Chavan has convened a meeting of party legislators on Monday to elect the new leader of the Congress Legislature Party in place of leader of opposition Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil who resigned after his son Sujay joined the BJP.
Former CM Prithviraj Chavan, former ministers Balasaheb Thorat, Naseem Khand and Vijay Wadettiwar are frontrunners for the CLP leader's post.
