12 booked for live-streaming vote on Facebook
NEW DELHI: Twelve youths have been booked in Maharashtra’s Osmanabad for carrying mobile phones inside the polling booth and posting live videos on Facebook while casting their vote on Thursday.
Election Commission rules state that voters are not allowed to carry mobile phones within 100-metres of a polling booth. Osmanabad police said that no arrests were made in the case till late in the evening.
