NEW DELHI: The
Election Commission of India announced the final schedule for the voting and result of the Solapur Lok Sabha election, which is to be held this year, on March 16.
Solapur Lok Sabha constituency is scheduled to go to polls in May, with the voting date set for May 7, during Phase 3 of the elections.
The results for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in the Solapur constituency are scheduled to be announced on June 4.
In the 2024 candidates list for the Solapur Lok Sabha Constituency, Ram Satpute from the Bharatiya Janata Party and Kum. Praniti Sushilkumar Shinde from the Congress party are the prominent candidates.
In the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, Shri. Sha. Bra. Dr. Jai Sidheshwar Shivachary Mahaswamiji of the BJP emerged victorious in the Solapur constituency, securing 524,985 votes. Shinde Sushilkumar Sambhajirao of the INC received 366,377 votes. Shri. Sha. Bra. Dr. Jai Sidheshwar Shivachary Mahaswamiji won with a significant margin of 158,608 votes.
In the Solapur Lok Sabha election of 2014, Sharad Bansode of the BJP emerged victorious by defeating INC candidate Shinde Sushilkumar Sambhajirao with a margin of 149,674 votes. Sharad Bansode secured 517,879 votes, while Shinde Sushilkumar Sambhajirao received 368,205 votes.
