Jaipur Rural, one of Rajasthan's 25 Lok Sabha constituencies, was established following the 2008 delimitation exercise. It encompasses areas from both Jaipur and Alwar districts.
In 2019, the Jaipur Rural parliamentary constituency had a total of 1,952,542 electors. The total number of valid votes cast was 1,276,693.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Col Rajyavardhan Rathore emerged as the Member of Parliament from this seat, securing a total of 820,132 votes. Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Krishna Poonia stood second with a total of 426,961 votes, losing by a margin of 393,171 votes.
This constituency recorded a 65.00% voter turnout in the year 2019.
The date of voting for the Jaipur Rural constituency of Rajasthan is April 19 (Phase 1). The date of counting and announcement of results is June 4.
