Bikaner constituency of Rajasthan Lok Sabha Election 2024: Date of voting, result, candidates list, main parties, schedule

The Bikaner Lok Sabha constituency in Rajasthan has been reserved for the Scheduled Caste (SC) community since the delimitation in 2008. It comprises seven Assembly seats: Bikaner East, Bikaner West, Kolayat, Khajuwala, Lunkaransar, Shri Dungargarh, Nokha, and Anupgarh. According to data from the 2014 general election, the Bikaner parliamentary seat has 1,591,068 voters.

The constituency has approximately 78% Hindus and 15% Muslims. As per the 2011 census, 22.91% of the total population belongs to the Scheduled Caste, and 37% belong to the Scheduled Tribe community.

The date of voting for the Bikaner constituency of Rajasthan is April 19 (Phase 1). The date of counting and announcement of results is June 4.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha election, BJP candidate Arjun Ram Meghwal retained the Bikaner seat by securing 657,743 votes, while Congress candidate Madan Gopal Meghwal came second with 393,662 votes. The Bikaner Lok Sabha seat witnessed a voting percentage of 59% in 2019.
