Double standards? Ramya snubbed, Raghavan targeted
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police, following specific instructions from the LDF government, have decided to file a case against UDF’s
Alathur candidate Ramya Haridas against LDF convener A Vijayaraghavan for allegedly making sexually loaded and derogatory comments against her. Both decisions by police were based on legal advice by the director general of prosecution (DGP).
“We sent statements from Ramya Haridas and the clarification given by Vijayaraghavan to the DGP. The DGP, after studying our report, advised that no case can be taken against Vijayaraghavan. Accordingly, we decided not to proceed with the case,”
