CM Pinarayi Vijayan comes out against opinion polls
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan has come out against all the opinion
The surveys are nothing but an attempt to help those who have little chances in the elections. But these surveys are not going to benefit them as the reality is different. Those who have no relevance in Kerala are not going to gain with these surveys, he said.
In Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha constituency there is a popular sentiment that the LDF candidate is going to win. But it has upset several quarters and hence there has been a calculated ploy with the support of the media to create a different impression. However, it is not going to upset the LDF and our candidate C Divakaran is going to win here, said the chief minister.
He alleged that in the elections political parties are trying various tricks to propagate their supremacy. For this, some are using the media houses also. Some political parties are influencing the media houses and the BJP is known for it. The Congress is also known for it, he said. tnn

The ground reality in Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha constituancy is that the fight is between INC and BJP as was the case in 2014 election. CPI candidate is expected to finish at a distant third place. The CM'' s expectation of 18 Lok Sabha seats in Kerala is over optimistic by any standards. Nevertheless, this over optimistic assertion by the CM will help a long way to boost the morale of LDF candidates and party workers to fight till polling is over on April 23. My prayers go with Pinarayi Vijayan, CPI (M) candidates and party workers. May God Almighty help left parties win 18 of 20 seats in Kerala.....Read allPost comment
