Rupi Soren, the former Union minister’s wife, also has immovable assets worth Rs 2.66 crore and moveable assets worth Rs 71 lakh.
Together, the couple owns 51 acres of farm lands in Bokaro and Hazaribag districts. The duo owns two plots in Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) and three plots in Bokaro’s City Center area and Chas. Shibu also owns three commercial spaces in Ranchi, Dumka and Bokaro, whose gross current estimated value is Rs 1.38 crore.
Shibu has given his youngest son Basant Soren a loan of 17 lakh. He has income tax dues worth Rs 74.55 lakh. Nishikant Dubey, the sitting BJP MP from Godda who is seeking a third term, has declared movable assets worth Rs 97 lakh. His wife, Anamika Gautam, owns three SUVs, one sedan and an Ambassador car and gold worth Rs 25 lakh.
Dubey, a resident of Bhagalpur in Bihar, owns four plots of farmlands in the district. The two-time Godda MP owns a commercial building in Gurgaon worth Rs 1.02 crore and one residence each in Mumbai and New Delhi, whose market value is pegged at over Rs 5 crore. In cumulative, Dubey has immovable assets worth Rs 22 crore while his wife has immovable assets worth Rs 19.43 crore.
Dubey’s challenger, JVMP’s Pradeep Yadav, has movable assets worth Rs 87.78 lakh while his wife Bina Devi has movable assets worth Rs 43.97 lakh. Yadav, a sitting MLA from Poreiyahat, earns from his MLA salary. In his affidavit, Yadav has disclosed that he has 25 bighas of farm lands and 15 bigha joint family property in Mouza Bohra block of Poreiyahat block.
JMM’s Rajmahal candidate Vijay Kumar Hansdak, who is seeking a second term, purchased farm land worth Rs 4.99 lakh last year. He owns a commercial property worth Rs 24 lakh in Barharwa in Sahibganj and 1,600 square residential plot in Ranchi whose market value is Rs 25.60 lakh. Together, Hansdak has movable assets worth Rs 54.56 lakh and immovable assets worth Rs 74.63 lakh.
