INLD to declare Lok Sabha candidates on April 15, says Abhay Chautala

KURUKSHETRA: The Indian National Lok Dal (

) on Tuesday held their party workers’ meeting in

Kurukshetra

where Abhay Chautala termed the leadership of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress and Jannnayak Janata Party (JJP) as the thugs.

While addressing the gathering, Abhay said, “INLD would be fielding the candidates of the working class against the thug candidates of Congress, BJP and JJP. The final decision would be taken by the party chief Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala Ji and we would be declaring the

Lok Sabha candidates

on

April 15

.”

Abhay criticised BJP and Congress candidates of Kurukshetra, “The Congress candidate after losing power had never visited the constituency and they only come here to contest elections, whereas the BJP has not been able to bring out any face from within Kurukshetra and they have to bring the candidate from outside. INLD would bring a candidate from the working class.”

Commenting on the BJP’s Sankalp Patr, Abhay said, “The Sankalp Patr is another Jumla by BJP as the promises made by them in 2014 have not been fulfilled till date. In today’s political scenario of the nation, the return of BJP is not possible, Congress would also not attain majority, and in this situation, INLD has a great opportunity to become the voice of farmers, labourers and working classes.”

The meeting was also attended by the INLD Haryana president Ashok Arora, who said, “Modi and BJP are doing politicization of the Army and it is not for the first time that the country has united against its enemy, but earlier when there was no Modi, the country has united against the enemies. The BJP government has failed miserably on all fronts especially in providing employment to educated youths. The farmers are not getting deserving prices for their crops and the BJP and Congress have exploited the farmers and labourers. The pension to persons above 60 years is being promised by BJP in its latest Sankalp Patr, but in Haryana every person above 60 years is already receiving pension started by Chaudhary Devilal.”

The meeting was attended by former minister Surender Madan, INLD Kaithal district president Kanwarpal, INLD Kurukshetra district president Sandeep Teka and other party leaders.
