CHANDIGARH: Where there are indications of an alliance between AAP and Congress finally happening for Delhi and Haryana, Congress's Haryana leaders have reiterated that the party can go all alone in the state.

Sources said AAP has offered 2-8 formula in Haryana. As the Congress leaders from Haryana are opposed to it, the party high command had decided to slow down the discussion. Speaking to TOI on Friday, HPCC president Ashok Tanwar and ex-CM Bhupinder Hooda said there was no need for any alliance in the state.

. We have already conveyed this to high command," said Hooda. However, he said it was up to the party high command to take a final call on this. Tanwar too agreed with Hooda, saying: "They have presence in New Delhi, hence party can discuss it there. But, AAP does not have any kind of presence in the state.''
