CHANDIGARH: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) is likely to release the list of candidates for Haryana on Thursday.
The screening committee of the party held its meeting at Congress headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday afternoon.
The list will be announced after the meeting of the central election committee (CEC) to be chaired by Congress president Rahul Gandhi.

Headed by K C Venugopal, the screening committee meeting was attended by ex-CM Bhupinder Hooda, Haryana Congress president Ashok Tanwar, Senior MLA Karan Singh Dalal, and party's Haryana affairs in charge Gulam Nabi Azad.
Party sources said that the committee had given its nod to five names - Deepender Hooda from Rohtak, Kumari Selja from Amabla, Shruti Choudhay from Bhiwani-Mahendergarh, Navin Jindal from Kurukshetra, and Ashok Tanwar from Sirsa.
These names were announced by Azad during the recent 'Parivartan Yatra' organized by the party across Haryana.
There was, however, still no clarity on Karnal and Hisar seats.
Four MLAs of Sonipat have sought candidature of Hooda from Sonipat parliamentary constituency.
For Gurgaon, the panel has recommended the names of Captain Ajay Yadav and Rao Dan Singh, and for Faridabad screening committee has shortlisted Avtar Singh Bhadana and former minister Mahender Partap Singh.
