HISAR: Even as Kuldeep Bishnoi avoided boarding the ‘unity bus’ of the Congress in his hometown, party’s state affairs in charge Ghulam Nabi Azad said that state president Ashok Tanwar would be the party nominee in Sirsa. Azad also said that six-seven candidates would be same as in the 2014 parliamentary polls.

What’s more, his wife and Hansi MLA Renuka Bishnoi also stayed away in Hansi. Hooda supporter Harpal Boora, who seeking the Congress ticket from Hansi assembly segment, welcomed the Yatra in Hansi. No event was held by the Bishnoi family in Adampur area, from where Kuldeep is an MLA.
Later in the day, Kuldeep’s spokesperson issued a statement saying that he would attend the Jagadhari rally to be addressed by Congress president Rahul Gandhi.

However, he refused the name the one seat that according to him the party could fail to win. On the question Haryana Congress chief Ashok Tanwar’s claim on the CM, Hooda said that he would be contesting the Lok Sabha election first. He added that the Congress was united.
ASAT missile is an achievement of scientists: Azad
On the successful trial of anti-satellites (ASAT) missile, Haryana in charge of Congress Ghulam Nabi Azad said that BJP did not do any work for it, scientists did. “Scientists belong to the country. The programme was founded by Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru and for all missiles being built, the foundation was laid during the Congress rule,” he added.
At the time of Indira Gandhi, Rakesh Sharma had landed on the moon, but it did not mean that he was from the Congress. The sun and moon did not shine and move due to BJP, this propaganda should be stopped and incumbent party should contest elections on real issues, he added.
