AAP leader, Valmiki Naik, said that BJP is facing a backlash on Goods and Services Tax (GST) and demonetisation and has now shifted focus to “invoking soldiers” to fool the people. He said that people should reject the BJP for trying to “misguide people in the name of soldiers and war”.
“Why was BJP feeling ashamed to campaign these elections on the twin issues of demonetisation and GST, both of which, turned out to be disastrous decisions for the country,” said AAP’s north Goa candidate, Pradeep Padgaonkar.
Naik said that Arvind Kejriwal who had called demonetisationthe biggest scam of independent India was proved right. “In Goa as well, we watched as the then defence minister had rushed to Goa and boast that he would make Goa the first cashless state.
